Poland collapses in 3 weeks
After the invasion of Poland, Germany conquers Norway in April 1940
Germany launches assault on France on the 10th of May 1940
France and England hid behind the Maginot line
but the Germans simply flew over it
Germany quickly defeated the allied armies in 6 weeks
France surrenders and the German Army parades through Paris
Germany begins operation Eagle or better known as the blitz
German and British planes engaged in dogfights on a daily basis
However Britain endured and Germany switched it's attention to Russia

The Germans held up to 500,000 sq mi of territory with over 75 million people at the end of 1941
However 'General Winter' ground the German drive to a halt just 16km from Moscow
During this reprise the Russians drove the Germans back almost 200 km's
The Germans reformed their line and held through the winter but took crippling losses
